Information Collection and Use
Making Everlasting Memories® (MeM®) is the sole custodian of the information collected on this site. MeM does not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. MeM does not collect personal information from its users except when the user knowingly provides such information.
Contact Sheet
MeM accepts information from the user on the contact form, requiring information such as name and email address. This information is used to contact the user as requested.
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on this site. Once the user closes their browser, the cookie simply terminates. For instance, by setting a cookie on this site, the user would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on this site. If a user rejects the cookie, they may still use this site.
Business partners that are linkable from this site (e.g. remembrance pages or flowers) may use cookies, but MeM has no access to, or control over, these cookies.
Log Files
MeM uses IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.
Sharing
MeM does not sell, trade, or rent information to others. MeM may, from time to time, share information to service providers or advisors in the spirit of improving overall service.

This site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that MeM is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage users to be aware when they leave this site and to read the privacy statements of each and every site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this site.
Email a Friend
If a user elects to invoke site services for informing a friend about a memorial on this site, the user is prompted for the friend's email address. MeM then automatically sends the friend a one-time email with the memorial information attached. MeM stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email.
Security
This site takes every precaution to protect user information. When users submit sensitive information via the site, the information is protected both online and off-line.
All user information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in MeM offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, a billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. All employees are kept up-to-date on company security and privacy practices. Finally, the servers that store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

Notification of Changes
If MeM decides to change its privacy policy, those changes will be posted on the site so users are always aware of what information is collected and how it is used. MeM will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.
